Grab the file with the button above and unzip it. You'll get a folder named dyslexilens.
Type this into the address bar, then turn on Developer mode (top-right).

DyslexiLens is a Chrome extension that makes websites easier to read. It is published by the DyslexiLens team at equal-mind.org.

These things are kept in Chrome's storage. If Chrome sync is on, they are copied to your own Google account:
A note is saved only when you click "Save this". Up to 200 notes are kept. You can delete one note or all of them.
There are no servers and no accounts. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party.
The text on the pages you visit is processed only on your device, to apply the reading tools. It is not stored or sent anywhere — except the notes you choose to save.
Your settings and notes are used only to give you the reading setup you chose.
Everything is kept in Chrome's storage on your device. If Chrome sync is on, Chrome copies it to your own Google account so it follows you across your devices.
This stays inside your own Google account. It does not come to us.
Text-to-speech uses the browser's built-in speech engine. Some browser voices may process text online under the browser's own policy. The extension itself does not send your text anywhere.
The ad blocker is optional and off by default. It uses a list that is included inside the extension. Chrome applies it on your device. Your browsing is not logged or sent.
We do not share your data with anyone. There are no third-party services, no analytics and no advertisers.
The extension uses no remote code. Everything ships inside the extension.
This website uses no analytics, cookies or trackers. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
This extension and website are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
